Corporate Social Responsibility Activities for 2008
Introduction

Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), on 27th December 2007, put in place a policy on corporate social responsibility. The scope of this policy integrates social, environmental, and economic concerns into the operations of the Authority, thereby providing a platform for establishing better internal operational and decision-making practices within the organization which create value for the Authority and its stakeholders. The four corner concerns of our policy include; our clients (taxpayers), members of staff (employees), the local community and the environment.

With this policy in place, ZRA has seen its obligations extend beyond its statutory functions. The Authority has voluntarily taken steps to improve the quality of life for its employees and their families as well as the local community and society at large.
