Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has announced the launch of a reward management programme which will allow the public to win various prizes in the Smart Invoice Campaign.
Speaking during the 2025 Taxpayer Appreciation Day held on Friday, 21st November, 2025 in Lusaka, ZRA Board Chairperson Dr. Caleb Fundanga said, the Smart Invoice Reward Management Programme, is set for 2026 and is expected to transform tax compliance for Zambians.
Dr. Fundanga stated, the scheme will transform each smart invoice into an opportunity to enter a raffle, allowing the public to win various prizes. He added that some receipts will also include instant rewards, such as airtime or shopping vouchers.
He said, the programme exemplifies a modern, people-centric approach to tax administration, promoting compliance not only through mandates but also through engagement, transparency, civic pride and a collective sense of national duty.
The Reward Management Programme will begin with a pilot phase in selected regions before expanding nationwide.
ZRA is committed to enhancing taxpayer education and improving compliance in order to build a more tax compliant Zambia.
