ZRA DONATES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO LUSAKA’S CHIPATA LEVEL 1 HOSPITAL

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has donated assorted medical equipment to Lusaka’s Chipata Level I Hospital.

This initiative is part of ZRA’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

Handing over the equipment, ZRA Acting Director – Executive Support, Laban Simbeye, who spoke on behalf of Commissioner General Dingani Banda, said public healthcare remains a key pillar of the Authority’s CSR agenda.

Mr. Simbeye also encouraged healthcare personnel at the facility to utilise the equipment effectively and reaffirmed ZRA’s commitment to remaining a responsive and dependable partner to the health sector.

Meanwhile, Dr. Choolwe Sianchapa, Clinical Care Specialist at the Lusaka District Health Office expressed appreciation for the donation, commending ZRA for its timely and responsive support to the health sector.

The donated equipment includes twenty-five (25) heavy duty wheelchairs, ten (10) ABS hospital patient adjustable stretchers, ten (10) handheld pulse oximeters and three (3) CTG machines with inbuilt printers.

Thirty (30) medical oxygen gauges, fifteen (15) rechargeable blood pressure machines, one (1) digital portable human slit lamp optical equipment and twenty (20) hospital neonatal cot beds were also donated.

ZRA is resolved to making a meaningful contribution to the well-being of the communities it serves.
