The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) held its 2025 Sports Day in Lusaka.
This annual event is held to promote the mental and physical well-being of staff.
Leading the sporting activities was ZRA Commissioner General, Dingani Banda, who participated in the 5km walk to the venue.
He reminded staff that sports not only foster a strong team spirit but also enhance health and well-being, emphasizing that maintaining a balance is essential.
Mr. Banda said, a healthy workforce is critical to fulfilling the Authority’s mission of sustaining revenue collections necessary for the country’s development.
Staff from the ZRA Midland region of Kapiri Mposhi, Kabwe, Chirundu, Kariba, Luangwa, and Lusaka participated in different sporting activities at the University of Lusaka, Silverest Campus Grounds.
The games included football, netball, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, table tennis, darts, pool, tug-of-war, and chess.
The event was held under the theme “Highlighting the importance of staff wellness in revenue collection.”
