The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has held a staff appreciation ceremony, recognising outstanding dedication and contributions among it’s members of staff.
24 awards were presented to staff members whose commitment and performance have significantly advanced the Authority’s mission.
Speaking at the event, ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda applauded staff for their remarkable contribution to ZRA’s 2025 revenue performance.
He urged employees to maintain the same commitment as ZRA pursues the 2026 target of K185 billion.
And ZRA Director Human Resources, Kelvin Shamizhinga encouraged employees to pursue excellence with integrity and a spirit of service.
Meanwhile, Zambia Revenue Authority and Allied Workers’ Union Vice President, Krebby Pumulo, called on management to protect jobs, invest in staff skills, and ensure employees retire with dignity and timely access to pension benefits.
The 2026 Labour Day was commemorated under the theme “Securing Zambia’s Future of Work: Protecting Jobs, Skills and Pensions for Decent Work for All.”
