ZRA emerged victorious as the Best Regulatory Organization at the 2025 Copperbelt Agriculture Mining Industry Networking Enterprise (CAMINEX). This year’s theme, “Creating a Regional Hub of Possibilities: Partnerships, Production, People,” set the stage for a showcase of excellence.
Held in the Jubilee Hall within the showgrounds, the award ceremony celebrated ZRA’s outstanding participation, where it competed in the Best Regulatory Organization category. The Authority not only clinched first place but also secured second place in the Best Stand Design category, showcasing its commitment to excellence.
Representing ZRA at the ceremony were Mr. Ignatius Mvula, Director of the Specialised Large Taxpayer Office – Mining, and Ms. Beauty Musonda, Assistant Director of Taxpayer Service and Education – North. They received the accolades amidst applause and cheers from the pavilion crowd.
ZRA outperformed notable competitors, including the Engineering Institute of Zambia, Which Took The First Runner-Up Position, And The Zambia Environmental Management Agency, Which Secured the Second Runner-up Position.
Mr. Mvula expressed his gratitude towards the team, acknowledging their collective efforts that made these achievements possible. “These awards are well-deserved,” he stated, as the team celebrated their hard work and dedication.
The 2025 CAMINEX was officially inaugurated by Mr. Paul Kabuswe, Minister of Mines, who represented the Head of State on May 28, 2025, marking a significant milestone for the industry.
