The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) will on Friday 21st November, 2025 celebrate and honour compliant taxpayers for their patriotic act of dutifully remitting their taxes and contributing to Zambia’s economic growth.
Through its annual event called the Taxpayer Appreciation Day (TAD), taxpayers are recognized for their efforts towards domestic resource mobilization.
The event will be held under the theme “Empowering Zambia Together – Celebrating Compliance, Building Prosperity,”.
The day also acts as a platform to encourage citizens to be tax compliant, fund the national budget and sustain the economy. The Distinguished taxpayers will be recognized for their exemplary tax compliance in the year 2024.
The Taxpayer Appreciation Day will bring together business leaders, national leaders, development partners, compliant taxpayers, and regional revenue administrators. Its objectives are to celebrate excellence, innovation, and integrity among compliant taxpayers; foster greater transparency in compliance processes; and demonstrate ZRA’s commitment to building trust and promoting positive taxpayer engagement.
The Taxpayer Appreciation Day is more than an awards ceremony, it is a national celebration of patriotism and partnership. By celebrating those who honor their tax obligations, we reaffirm that compliance is not just a duty, but a shared responsibility in building our nation’s prosperity.
