ZRA’S ACHIEVEMENTS IN BUILDING A BETTER ZAMBIA

Western Province Permanent Secretary, Simomo Akapelwa, recently visited the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Stand at the ongoing Western Province Agricultural Show. During his tour, he praised the Authority’s proactive role in national development and highlighted the importance of enhancing tax education across the country. He encouraged attendees to visit the ZRA stand in Mongu to address any tax-related matters.

In a display of excellence, ZRA also celebrated significant achievements at the 2025 Central Province Agricultural and Commercial Show in Kabwe, where they were awarded the Best Theme Interpretation Award. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the ZRA team.

Additionally, ZRA was honoured with the Best Quasi-Government Service Provider award, securing 1st Prize at the same event. This recognition coincided with the celebration of Africa Public Service Week, underscoring the Authority’s commitment to service excellence.

Further reinforcing their status, ZRA received the Most High Performing Institution Award on Africa Public Service Day. The success of ZRA is attributed to their New Operating Model (NOM), which has ingrained a culture of excellence within their staff.

Together, these achievements affirm that taxes build Zambia and highlight ZRA’s dedication to serving the nation effectively.
