PROMOTING A NEW INTEGRITY CULTURE IN MODERN CUSTOM ADMINISTRATION- Nigeria Customs visits ZRA on a research and Study tour

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), is hosting a team of the Nigerian Customs Command Staff College who are visiting the Authority on a research and study tour.

The team comprises staff and students undertaking a study tour and research under the theme: Promoting a New Integrity Culture in Modern Customs Administration.

The ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda in welcoming the visitors, stressed that the theme of the visit resonates well with attaining optimum and sustainable Tax Administration Reforms and foster stakeholders’ confidence in the Tax Administrations.

Mr. Banda observed that Staff Integrity is, therefore a key determinant of public confidence.

He added that the research and study tour will offer an opportunity to both ZRA and the Nigerian Customs to exchange ideas and to learn from each other.

And the head of delegation from the Nigerian team, Assistant Comptroller of Customs and also Director Regional Training Centre WCO WCA Region, Olowo Kenneth emphasised the need for their study tours to be undertaken within Africa as Customs Administrations in the continent face similar challenges.
