The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has officially been inducted at a ceremony that was attended by Senior Members of Management (SMM).
Speaking during the ceremony, ZRA Board Chairperson Dr. Caleb Fundanga assured management of the board’s ambitions of ensuring that tax policy issues and re-alignment of priorities in with government’s agenda will be addressed.
Dr. Fundanga said ZRA’s revenue performance is key in enabling government to deliver essential services to the people.
He added that policy factors and operational issues should always be suitably motivated in order to avoid conflict of the two.
And ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda made a presentation to the board members, outlining the operational structure and revenue performance of the Authority.
Mr. Banda said the Authority is making strides in modernising business operations in order to efficiently delivery services to taxpayers.
